Trained by a renowned colour institute in Seoul, I believe in embracing both systems now that I have a deeper understanding of them. We’ll do a comprehensive colour analysis using both the 16-season (“Western”) and the Korean colour analysis systems. This service is suitable for individuals of all ethnicities and backgrounds.
Colour analysis in Korea focuses less on warm/cool distinctions (like in the “Western” seasonal system) and more on tonal characteristics such as light/deep. There are more differences, but this is the easiest way of describing it to a general audience.
Both systems have their pros and cons. Tonal analysis allows for wearing all colours within the appropriate value range, while seasonal analysis suggests that individuals stick to either warm or cool tones (generally speaking).
This service will take 90 to 120 minutes minutes and is completed in-person in Markham, Ontario.
